Marching to new heights and to the successful beat of their own drums, the Coppell Varsity Percussion attended the North Texas Drumline Contest and swept all captions and were awarded 1st place. Varsity Band also was named a 2nd place finalist and tied in the caption of Music Performance in the recent H-E-B marching contest. This is all music to our ears, Congratulations to the Coppell Band under the leadership of Head Band Director Kim Shuttlesworth and her team of Riaz Mohammed, Brandon Slovak, Kate McCutcheon, Randall Nguyen, Justin Lum and Danny Hawkins.
