The Coffee and Connections event, held Sept. 27 at George Coffee in Coppell, was a resounding success, bringing together families who receive intervention or special education services for a morning of warmth and community. Coffee and Connections offers parents a chance to meet up after school drop-off with no agenda — just a time to chat and connect. Now in its third year, this quarterly gathering welcomed a great turnout, with both familiar and new faces amongst the crowd of 30. CISD is so thankful to our community and the Intervention Services leaders who made this happen. Cheers to more cups of connection this school year.
