In a recent meeting of the CISD Bond Oversight Committee on Jan. 8, committee members were presented with several updates on the ongoing 2023 Bond Projects. These developments include:
Playground and Shade Structure Replacements at all elementary schools (excluding Canyon Ranch Elementary) with an anticipated completion in fall 2024.
Campus refreshes at Mockingbird Elementary and Wilson Elementary, which are scheduled to finish in fall 2024.
The Buddy Echols Field Turf and Track Replacement is set to begin this summer after the graduation ceremonies on May 24 and is targeted for completion in fall 2024.
The Buddy Echols Field Seat and Seat Back Replacements are underway and slated for potential completion by April or May of 2024.
Construction of the new CHS Fine Arts Rehearsal Building is anticipated to be completed by fall 2025.
The renovations and additions to the CHS Tennis Center are expected to be finalized by fall 2025.
The additions and renovations at Valley Ranch Elementary are projected to be completed by fall 2025.
