Led by CISD Transition Specialist Karrie Barnes, students in the over age 18 Transitional Pathways Program at CHS recently participated in mock employment interviews to help these learners transition after they leave school. Matt Jenkins with the Quest Employment Agency, alongside CISD Intervention Services staff members, worked with students to practice interview and social skills to prepare for life after public school. Quest Employment Agency and the Texas Workforce Commission partner with CISD to help Transitional Pathways adult learners develop vocational work skills, social skills, independent living and other adulting tools for future employment opportunities for these students.
