No Increase for Seniors
Taxpayers aged 65 and older with frozen school taxes will see no increase.
When is the Election?
REGISTER TO VOTE by October 7, 2024
*EARLY VOTING: October 21 - November 1
Oct. 28 - 29: 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m.
Oct. 30 - Nov. 1: 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
ELECTION DAY: November 5, 2024
7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Of the $11,166,955 cited on the ballot:
CISD will keep approximately $2.4 million
$5.28 million is due to the increase in
taxable property values
It is subject to recapture by the state.
Of the remaining $5.88 million:
CISD will keep approximately
$2.4 million due to the VATRE.
The rest is being recaptured by the state.
