CISD Bus Services/Registration

NOTE: Bus routes, pick-up times and locations for the 2024-2025 school year will be communicated with the families in August right before school starts on August 14, 2024.

Durham School Services is the district's transportation provider. The CISD Transportation Department is dedicated to safely transport the student of this community. The district makes school bus transportation available to all students living two or more miles from their assigned school. This service is provided at no cost to students.  For the safety of the operator of the vehicle and all passengers, students must board buses only at authorized stops.

The district has identified various areas where hazardous traffic conditions for students who live within two miles of the campus. Because students in these areas might encounter hazardous traffic conditions when walking to and from school, the district will provide transportation to these students.

Bus Transportation Registration

New and current families request bus transportation as part of their enrollment/re-enrollment forms. Copies of these forms are emailed to families, who can verify if they requested bus transportation for their eligible children by checking their email copy of the form. Bus routes, pick-up times and locations for the 2024-2025 school year will be communicated with the families in August right before school starts on August 14, 2024.

Limited Pay-To-Ride

This service enables students that qualify to ride the bus for a FEE

Coppell ISD and Durham Transportation Services offer limited "Pay-To-Ride" bus services to students who qualify and attend the following schools:

  • Austin Elementary

  • Cottonwood Creek Elementary

  • Pinkerton Elementary

  • Wilson Elementary

  • CMS East

  • CMS North

  • Coppell High School

CISD’s school bus partner, Durham School Services, offers a phone and web application  that will allow parents and guardians to securely track the location of their child(ren)’s bus in relationship to their assigned bus stop and school. The app allows parents and guardians to view multiple stops on an assigned route, including the scheduled arrival time for each stop and arrival at school.

What is the cost?
This service is free and voluntary.

What information do I need?
You will need your child(ren)’s school issued ID number, last name and to select “Coppell, TX” as your location to sign up.
