Coppell ISD is pleased to offer a Communication Card for learners with significant needs while out in the community. The Communication Card is designed to offer additional information to community members in the event that your child is lost or needs assistance and may have difficultly seeking help.

This is an option for families, and not required by the school district. Students in school will continue to have school issued ID badges.

The front of the card has a photo and identifying information.

The back of the card includes some helpful information in the event that your child is unable to communicate their need for assistance.

We have created a brief informational and training video (see below) on how to use this card with your child at home and in the community.

To request this card – click HERE.  Please allow up to a month to receive the communication card. It will be delivered to your child on his/her campus to go home with him/her.  If at any point you need to update your child's communication card, you can do so by completing an additional communication card request form.
