Teacher Starting Salary: $62,700
Master's Degree Stipend: $1,500
Doctorate Degree Stipend: $1,500
Special Education Self-Contained Stipend: $3,000
Bilingual Stipend: $4,000
Pay Increase for Current Employees
Approved by CISD Board of Trustees on June 24, 2024
A 3% pay increase ($2,050) on the midpoint of the pay grade for all continuing teachers and nurses on a 187-day contract.
A 3% pay increase ($2,160) on the midpoint of the pay grade for all continuing librarians on a 197-day contract.
A 3% pay increase for all other employees on the midpoint of their pay grade.

Other Employee Benefits
CISD Healthcare Contribution: $350/month.
Employees not living within the CISD boundaries are eligible to enroll their children in CISD schools in grades Pre-K through 12 (Pre-Kindergarten program has eligibility requirements).
Employees that choose to participate in TRS-Active Care have access to multiple mental and physical health benefits through the BCBS health care plan including Fitness Program for gym memberships or digital fitness classes, digital Mental Health Programs offering self-paced lessons or one-on-one support with a coach, health self-assessments, and wellness programs to manage stress, fitness, nutrition, and other wellness indicators.
