Dear CISD Families,

Coppell ISD is committed to our Community Based Accountability System (CBAS) to measure growth and identify opportunities for improvement. CBAS is one of our district's goals and it matters, because it means our community, which includes our staff, our students and their families, our businesses, and our community members share in the development and analysis of the system that holds the district accountable. The CBAS system is from our community and for our community. It aligns with our mission and core values. 

In CISD, we believe continuous improvement is critical to growth, learning and innovation. We look at the whole child in CISD and desire for our students to have a full experience emphasizing academics, athletics, fine arts, service and much more. Our incredible staff are partnering with our students and families to create innovative learning experiences and opportunities that defy the ability of a standardized test to measure the growth of our learners. As we like to say, “You can’t test that.”
