Richard J. Lee Elementary 5th grader Srinidhi Maddireddy has put her creativity on display for the world to see, earning an Honorable Mention in the Texas State Fair Art Competition finals in the 5 to 9 age group for the fair’s theme category, "24 Days of Fun!" This prestigious competition, which draws hundreds of entries each year, celebrates the creativity and artistic talent of young Texans.
Under the guidance of her art teacher, Audrey Allen, Maddireddy crafted a piece that truly captures the vibrant energy and excitement of the State Fair of Texas, which is visited by more than 2 million people each year. Her artwork stood out in a highly competitive field, impressing the judges with its imaginative interpretation of the fair’s theme.
The State Fair of Texas, which runs for 24 days starting on September 27, is a time-honored tradition that brings together people from across the state to celebrate Texas culture, food, music, and, of course, art. Maddireddy's achievement is a shining example of the creativity and talent that thrives at Richard J. Lee Elementary, and we are incredibly proud of her accomplishment.
Congratulations to Srinidhi Maddireddy for making her mark on the Texas State Fair and representing Coppell ISD with such artistic excellence!
