The Student’s Responsibilities

On-Going Communication

Provide high-quality curriculum and instruction focused on differentiation for the growth of every student.

Develop and implement local common formative and summative assessments to monitor each student’s learning.

Initiate individual and small group instructional practices to provide additional learning time for all students

Communicate and provide parents with resources, strategies, and information to help students succeed.

Opportunities for guardians and families to volunteer in the school

Be team oriented.

Support their child’s learning at home through dialog, homework, and setting a positive example.

Monitor attendance and ensure homework is completed.

Participate in parent meetings and trainings/activities when able.

Actively Volunteer at Coppell Middle School East

Stay informed by reading the weekly newsletter, checking schoology, and grades on HAC

Hold an open mindset.

Be team oriented.

Be open and honest when needing help regarding learning.

Act appropriately and do not disrupt the learning environment.

Do homework every day and ask for help when needed.

Have a positive attitude
