All CISD schools will be served by a School Resource Officer from the City of Coppell or a School Resource Deputy from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office for the 2024-2025 school year. Cottonwood Creek, Denton Creek, Lakeside, Pinkerton, and Wilson Elementary will have an SRO from the Coppell Police Department on site. Mockingbird Elementary will share its SRO with CMS East and Denton Creek Elementary and Victory Place @ Coppell will share their SRO with CMS North, as the City of Coppell works to hire two additional SROs to serve these campuses. Canyon Ranch Elementary, Richard J. Lee Elementary, and CMS West will each have a School Resource Deputy from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office on campus. CHS9, CHS and New Tech High @ Coppell will each have SROs from the Coppell Police Department on site.
