Congratulations to Wilson Elementary Principal Cooper Hilton, who was inaugurated as the President of the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) during the organization’s state conference last week. Several CISD elementary principals and assistant principals, as well as Superintendent Dr. Brad Hunt joined Hilton in celebrating his leadership of TEPSA. TEPSA, whose hallmark is educational leaders learning with and from each other, has served Texas Pre-K-8th grade school leaders since 1917. TEPSA has more than 6,000 members who direct the activities of 3 million Pre-K to 8th grade students. Hilton has more than 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, leader and principal. He has worked in Coppell ISD for 14 years, serving as an assistant principal and principal. He is the former principal of Austin Elementary School and has led Wilson Elementary since 2017.
