Due to the predicted excessive heat conditions, the start time of the Friday, Aug. 25, Coppell Cowboys home varsity football game vs. Sachse has been moved back to 8 p.m. The gates will open at 6:30 p.m. prior to the start of the game. As a reminder, all home varsity football games take place at Buddy Echols Field on the Coppell High School Campus, located at 185 West Parkway Blvd.

CISD would also like to remind our community about the following Safety and Security guidelines and procedures for varsity home football games:
The Coppell Police Department will have police officers on site, and there will be personnel from an outside security company also on site. In addition, campus administrators and district safety personnel are on duty during all athletic events.
All visitors at football games at Buddy Echols Stadium will be searched by portable metal detecting wands before entering the stadium at all entrances.
Backpacks are prohibited and only small purses (4.5” x 6.5”), diaper bags, camera bags and medical bags are allowed in the stadium. All personal items are subject to search at the gate and if deemed allowable will be tagged. Fans, officials, and event staff are asked to avoid bringing any bags if possible. If on the premises with an untagged bag, the individual will be removed from the stadium.
Signs must be handheld, event-related, in good taste and cannot obstruct another guest's view.
