With this huge honor, all finalists will also be published in the I Am Texas Historian’s Journal and become a part of The Bryan Museum’s permanent library collection in Galveston, Texas. The I Am Texas contest began when The Bryan Museum and iWrite Literacy Organization in Houston partnered to publish 1,000 student writers and artists, breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest book in the world. The contest has since expanded, inviting Texas students from grades 2 to 12 to submit writing and art entries. Congratulations to these CISD student finalists! Contest winners will be announced on Sep 10.
