Dear Coppell ISD Community,
At approximately 4:30 p.m. today (Aug. 20), the Coppell Police Department informed Lakeside Elementary staff that they would be using the school’s parking lot as a staging area as they search for a missing elderly person nearby. We wanted to share this information with our community to inform you of the increase in police presence in the area and that this is unrelated to the school.
The Coppell Police Department will be sharing additional updates with the community.
