At the Aug. 1 Coppell ISD's New Hire Breakfast, the CISD Child Nutrition team served more than just breakfast — they served up memories.
Estrella "Star" Primera, a beloved member of our Child Nutrition team for 30 years, had a sweet reunion with new teacher Sabrina Sadler, a former student to whom Primera served meals to when Sadler was in Kindergarten at Austin Elementary. A CISD graduate Sadler is starting her first year teaching social studies at Coppell Middle School East.
This touching reunion highlights the lasting impact of CISD Child Nutrition staff, proving that a simple meal can nourish hearts and minds.
