Pinkerton Elementary - Cowpokes

During the Nov. 18 Board Meeting, Trustees received updates on the following:

• The final ESSER report;

• The 2024-2025 & 2025-2026 Budgets and future planning;

• The Community Based Accountability System (CBAS) Report; and

• An update on Bond Projects

Also at the meeting, the Board canvassed the votes for the November 5, 2024, Voter Approval Tax Ratification Election as follows:

• 10,780 for the VATRE

• 12,799 against the VATRE

Trustees also approved:

• Contracting with Aramark, the district’s current custodial provider, to take over the operations and management of the CISD maintenance and grounds department;

• A resolution to resume Phase 2 of previously approved elementary bond projects, giving the district the right to change the timeline of elementary bond projects as presented, which includes moving the refresh of Denton Creek Elementary to the summer of 2025 to take advantage of the teacher movement happening within the building due to the consolidation of the DLI program to Denton Creek Elementary;

• The monthly budget amendments for November 2024 and the financial report for October 2024.
