Three New Tech High @ Coppell sophomores achieved top finishes in the Junior World Affairs Council Global Issues Summer Art Competition. These students participated in the competition under the leadership of teacher Danae Boyd as part of their AP Human Geography course and who sponsors the Junior World Affairs club at New Tech. Congratulations to Kaitlin Fishman who won 1st Place for her piece “Class of ####.” Anika Gunaselan achieved 2nd place for her piece “Dual Realities.” Aralynne Manansala was the Runner Up for her piece “Picture Perfect.” The Global Young Leaders Summer Art Contest invites high school students to create a piece – photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, or mixed media – that represents their passion for a global issue that speaks to them.
