Coppell ISD Middle School Course Guide

The Coppell ISD Middle School Course Planning Guide provides essential information about the courses offered at CISD Middle Schools. Note that not all courses are available at all three schools. Familiarizing yourself with this guide is crucial for making appropriate course selections for the 2025-2026 school year.

Middle school Counselors understand your learner’s abilities and interests and will offer suggestions based on their knowledge. While educators are valuable resources, it is important for learners to make individual choices for their schedules, as schedule changes will be minimal. Middle school courses form the foundation of a learner’s secondary experience. Courses taken in middle school will not appear on a transcript unless noted as receiving high school credit.

We encourage you to review the courses with your learner. Coppell ISD aims to offer every course described, but availability depends on staffing, class load, and funding.

Pre-registration is critical as it determines course scheduling and educator employment for the next school year. Therefore, very few schedule changes are made. Changes after the school year begins will be for balancing class sizes, administrative purposes, or correcting errors. Please choose carefully as master schedules are based on course requests.

For questions about specific courses or the selection process, please contact your learner’s Counselor.
