CISD will host a public hearing on its FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas) rating report for the 2022-2023 school year during the Oct. 28 Board Meeting at 6 p.m. The hearing and the Board Meeting will take place in the Board Room of the CISD Vonita White Administration Building, located at 200 S. Denton Tap Road. In August, the district announced that it had received the Texas Education Agency’s top financial rating for the 22nd consecutive year. In its findings, the TEA announced CISD had received both an “A” Superior Achievement Rating and a “94” Score in the School Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) ratings. The district has received a “Superior” rating since 2002.
