    What is Schoology?

Schoology (pronounced: Skool’uh-jee) will replace the previous learning management system (Blackboard) that did not function at the level needed to support CISD learners and teachers.
Schoology offers a platform for collaboration, communication, organization, discussion boards and a place to submit assignments. Teachers can review student work and provide feedback through the system. Schoology has a simplified navigation and a similar layout to Facebook. Parents now have their own user accounts to view all their children’s work in one login.
All secondary learners (except NTH@C) will be utilizing this new learning management system. While educators in grades 6-12 will be using Schoology regularly this year, we will launch a staggered release for our elementary learners, therefore, not all elementary classrooms will be using Schoology right away.
