|Emily Froese is honored to be serving in the role of Principal at Coppell Middle School West. Emily has over 12 years of experience in education working with a wide range of learners in the classroom and on the court. Most recently Emily served as an assistant principal in another local district while also becoming a certified virtual instructor and teaching on-line. |
Ms. Froese received her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Special Education from the University of Texas Pan-American, and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. In her spare time, Ms. Froese enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, reading, going to the movies and camping. Ms. Froese is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Dallas Baptist University in Transformational Leadership. She is married and the proud mom of 3 and loves being involved in their interests.

|Bruce Hermans is in his fourth year of service as one of CMS West's Assistant Principals. He has been part of the CISD family for the last nine years while serving in various capacities at the High School including as a Director in the Theatre Program. Prior to moving to Coppell he was the district’s lead Theatre teacher in Irving ISD where he served for four years. Mr. Hermans holds his M.Ed. degree from Lamar University in Texas and has also earned an MFA from the University of Kansas City Missouri while studying under a Hallmark Foundation Grant. Mr. Hermans has appeared in many commercials, film endeavors, and professional Theatre productions. Blessed with his wife, Chris, who is also an educator, and two wonderful children his life is filled with joy and reward. During his spare time Mr. Hermans enjoys serving as part of his church, cheering for his beloved Green Bay Packers, playing golf when time permits, and watching his kids play baseball and softball.|

|Sarah Thornton is in her third year as an Assistant Principal at Coppell Middle School West. Ms. Thornton is in her tenth year of education with middle school experience as both an English and Social Studies educator and administrator. She is passionate about building relationships with learners and their families and making their time at CMS West something they will remember for a lifetime. Ms. Thornton received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas State University-San Marcos and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from University of Texas Arlington. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Dallas Baptist University. In her free time, Ms. Thornton loves to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family.|
